The Refurbishment Process

• The alloys are removed from the vehicle and fully cleaned.
• The tyres are deflated and set away from the rim.
• Tyres are masked up along with the inner wheel, masking the inner wheel prevents over-spray sticking to the inner wheel, this over-spray is unsightly and makes it nearly impossible to clean the brake dust from your inner wheels at a later date.
• The damaged areas are then repaired.
• The repaired area is primed with an etching primer followed by further primer.
• A colour matched base coat is applied.
• The wheel is then covered with 2 coats of lacquer.
• Your wheel is cured using infa red lamps.
• wheels are inflated to the recommended pressure.
• Tyres are dressed with a tyre dressing.
• All wheels are then re-fitted to the vehicle.
